Location

This role is based in Switzerland and can be performed from one of our Swiss offices or in a hybrid working model.

Given the nature of the role, regular interaction with customers, users, and colleagues across product, engineering, and project teams is expected. Occasional travel within Switzerland and Europe may be required.

As a Product Solution Manager, you will operate at the intersection of customers, users, projects, product management, architecture, and engineering.

Your primary responsibility is to transform business requirements into scalable product solutions and ensure they are sufficiently defined for successful implementation by our development teams.

You will work closely with customers, product managers, architects, and engineers to balance customer value, product strategy, technical feasibility, and delivery effort.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer, User & Project Engagement
    Working directly with customers, end users, and project teams to understand business processes, operational challenges, requirements, and objectives. You will help uncover the underlying business needs and ensure they are properly understood across the organization.
  • Solution Design
    Working closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design scalable and sustainable solutions based on our products, platforms, and integration capabilities. You will evaluate solution options, balance customer requirements with product strategy and architectural principles, define system interactions and integration approaches, and drive the discussions and decisions required to move solutions forward.
  • Requirements Engineering
    Translating business requirements into clear, actionable, and implementable epics, features, workflows, interfaces, and acceptance criteria. Your goal is to ensure that customer and business needs are sufficiently refined and structured so that development and delivery teams can efficiently estimate, plan, and implement them.
  • Cross-Functional Facilitation
    Facilitating discussions and alignment between customers, users, product management, architecture, engineering, operations, and project delivery teams. You will help bring different perspectives together, identify trade-offs, resolve ambiguities, and ensure decisions are made with the right stakeholders involved.
  • Product Evolution
    Identifying recurring customer requirements and helping transform project-driven needs into reusable product capabilities.
    Customization Governance
    Ensuring customer-specific requirements are implemented in a sustainable manner without compromising the integrity of the product platform.
  • Planning & Delivery Support
    Supporting estimation, prioritization, PI planning, and delivery preparation together with product managers and engineering leaders.
  • Documentation
    Maintaining solution documentation, specifications, workflows, and decision records throughout the lifecycle of a project and product enhancement.

Ownership Beyond the Role

While the primary focus of this position is solution design and requirements engineering, we do not believe in rigid organizational boundaries. Depending on your skills and interests, you may have opportunities to contribute to commercial topics, business cases, customer engagements, or the evolution of our product portfolio. We are looking for people who enjoy taking ownership and are comfortable operating across multiple disciplines when needed.

Additional Note

As part of an international organization, occasional meetings outside standard business hours may be required to collaborate with colleagues, partners, and customers across different time zones.

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Experience in Solution Design, Solution Architecture, Technical Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Software Delivery, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development and software architecture.
  • Ability to understand both business processes and technical implementation details.
  • Experience designing software solutions involving APIs, integrations, workflows, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and implementable solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers and users.
  • Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in agile software delivery environments.
