We achieved another major milestone in the development of our pin entry robot and our test environment specialized for EFT/POS terminal testing.

In close collaboration with UL Transaction Security we have integrated the UL Brand Test Tool with the robot and are now able to perform EMV L3, ADV/TIP testing fully automated. The integration also offers a huge potential for terminal regression testing, since the UL brand test tool emulates nearly any payment card. This means that you have access to any payment card and you can execute any test with any card profile; fully automatically.

To control the UL brand test tool and the robot, Abrantix offers one simple, purpose-built interface (REST-API). This facilitates designing your test solution and still gives you full control to develop your test sets. The robot also offers a simple, generic interface allowing to integrate with any other solution.

The third partner of the collaboration chasing the fully automated dream is UK based consultancy IntelliQA. IntelliQA has been instrumental in driving and engineering the solution for their client Worldpay, using the technology of Abrantix, UL Transaction Security and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). IntelliQA is a leading Hewlett Packard Enterprise Gold Partner that has used the test automation tool HPE Unified Functional Testing and HPE Mobile Center to integrate and drive all of the components within the test. Many large corporate enterprises have HPE software such as Quality Center, the solution maximizes the benefit of their tool investment using the latest incarnations of the tools to achieve the goal of incorporating regression testing into their continuous integration pipe.
